You need a rest day from crossfit
You need a rest day. If you’re training intensely 6/7 days a week you’re actually hindering your progress. Your body needs time to repair the muscles. Feel free to obviously come in and stretch or chill but please avoid 6/7 classes/big training days.
You don’t always need to do extras after a crossfit class
You don’t always need to do extras. We love that you want to get better but just because others are doing extras (perhaps to work on a specific area or to help an injury) doesn’t mean you need to.
If you’d like to work on a specific/have an injury please speak to Dan or JP who can programme you best around classes and your lifestyle.
You’re Need to Eat enough for crossfit
CrossFit is intense, it asks a lot from you, building muscle uses a lot of energy. Eating salads won’t cut it and we need you fuelled and energised so you can give everything in class and life.
don’t let life suffer outside of crossfit
CrossFit is addictive and yeahhhhh we are all pretty cool to hang out with but it’s important to maintain a healthy balance with all of the things that mean a lot to you. Speak to one of the coaches if you feel a little out of balance and they can help guide you on the best approach.
Other Reasons to avoid crossfit:
- You’re needing sport specific training and coaching
- You’re suffering from injury
- You’ve tried CrossFit and hate it
That’s it. Your health means more to us than your attendance at a CrossFit class.

Classes are small meaning you have the opportunity to be coached and grow. We care about your form, we care about your performance so we keep class numbers small to maintain safety and progression. Would a simple gym without all this really be the same value or does CrossFit cost now seem quite low?
Classes are programmed. It’s not just 30 seconds on 30 seconds off here. Dan spends a lot of time programming making sure you’re working on weakness and having a good laugh doing it.
Anytime you like. We’re not just 24/7 access. We provide access to coaches through social media, within the gym or WhatsApp 24/7.
