Beginner CrossFit Workout

If you’re new to CrossFit, it’s essential to start with foundational movements that build strength, improve mobility, and introduce you to the high-intensity format of CrossFit workouts. Below is a beginner-friendly CrossFit workout that you can do at home or in a gym. The focus here is on functional movements, proper form, and gradually increasing intensity.

This workout consists of five basic movements performed in a circuit. You’ll do each exercise for a set number of repetitions and repeat the entire circuit 3-4 times, resting as needed between exercises and rounds.

1. Air Squats

  • Reps: 15

2. Push-Ups

  • Reps: 10

3. Dumbbell Deadlifts

  • Reps: 10

4. Plank Hold

  • Duration: 30 seconds

5. Dumbbell Snatch

  • Reps: 10 (5 per side)
